I went home for lunch today and to kill time I turned on the Paulson-Bernanke-House Financial Services Committee Circus. Now, when I was kid, and found out that Radar from Mash has problems with one of his arms, I couldn’t help but look for it in every scene he was in. I know it’s that perverse, ambulance chasing, rubberneck gene we all carry but I couldn’t help it. Today during the Circus at the center ring, I could not help but notice Paulson’s right hand pinky. I also know it’s not politically correct to poke fun at him, but I would like to ask that he please not speak with his hands so often. When the rest of his hand is pointing to a committee member, that pinky is pointing straight down at the table. If only he had such admirable qualities like others with the same problem. Denzel Washington and James Colburn, come immediately to mind. On second thought, the only names I can come up with are actors, what does that say about Paulson? Thank you, Mr. Treasurer, with much respect.
